Mrs. Hooper is survived by her sisters, Isabelle Frazier and Eloise Maynor, both of Scottsboro; sister-in-law, Christine Hooper of Aspel; special friend, Allie Gilliam; several nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rayford “Dud” Hooper; parents, Walter and Rosa Paradise Dulaney; brothers and sisters, Walter Dulaney, Jr, John Emmett Dulaney, Bob Dulaney, Ruby Sparkman, Rosa Lee Guffey, Amanda Jane Mills, and twin sister, Ora Jones.

Nora was known as the welcome wagon of Aspel. Whenever a new family moved in she would make a cake or pie or take fresh vegetables from her garden to visit them and invite them to church. Nora loved her church family. She was a Sunday School teacher for years and an original member of the Aspel Methodist Church.
Nora lived with her sister, Isabelle for the last couple of years while they took care of each other. She will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to thank all of our church family, Alacare Hospice, Scottsboro Fire and Rescue, Dr. Andrew White, and Rudder Funeral Home.
