Norma Jean Sawyer's Obituary
Norma Jean Sawyer, age 69 of Ringgold, GA, formerly of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Cornerstone Medical Center.
Mrs. Sawyer was born in North Carolina to the late Leo Jackson and Ora Lee Sherman Roberts. She was a retired RN from Jackson County Hospital in Scottsboro. She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Sawyer; daughters: B.J. Sawyer (Shane) Smith of Augusta, GA, and Jacqueline Sawyer (Todd) Potter of Ringgold, GA; grandchildren: Jordan Smith, Kendall Smith, Seth Smith, Carmen Potter, Audrey Potter, Stephanie Crossley, Rob Sawyer, and Zach Sawyer; brothers: Archie Roberts, Terry Roberts, and Mike Roberts. Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son, Carey Sawyer. Visitation for
Mrs. Sawyer will be Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 11 AM – 2 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will begin at 2 PM at the funeral home chapel with Bro.
