Odes Edward White, 74 of Stevenson, AL died May 10, 2014 at Parkridge Hospital West in Jasper, TN. Odes was the son of the late George Uless and Flossie Annabelle Cash White born June 18, 1939 in Stevenson, AL. He had farmed with Wooden Bros.
Besides his parents, Odes was preceded in death by his first wife Joyce Virginia Rogers White; son Michael White; brother George White; and great-granddaughter Kennedy Wooten.
Survivors include his wife Mary Nell Smith Day White of Stevenson, AL; Children: Billy (Stacey) White of Bryant, AL, Bobby (Stephanie) White of Jasper, TN, Pam (Jeff) Ray of Stevenson, Karen (Mike) Wagner of Dunlap, TN; grandchildren: Jeremy (Brandy) White of Bryant, Christy (Jerime) Keith of Valley Head, AL, Hollie (Kyle) Wooten of Trenton, GA, Taylor (Blake) Cooper of Stevenson, Matthew Allison and Jonathan Brown of Bryant, Jessica O'Neal of Stevenson, Trey Stewart of Bridgeport, AL; special grandchildren Jackson and Reagen Davis; great-grandchildren: Hagen White, Wynston Keith, Jayden Wooten, Cameron Stewart, Drake Ray, Aiden Stewart; brother Clarence (Margaret) White of South Pittsburg, TN; and other relatives.
Visitation will be Monday 1-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Tuesday, May 13, at 2 PM at the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Bobby Talley and Bro Sam Whited. Interment will be in Gray Cemetery in Bryant, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
