A Time to Die ~ Oscar Willbanks, Jr., 50 of Stevenson, AL, died on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Grandview Medical Center in Jasper, TN. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife Annette Marie Harris Willbanks; parents Oscar and Clara Gordon Willbanks, Sr.
A Time to Mourn ~ He leaves in legacy in the lives of survivors his daughter Karla Willbanks of Stevenson, AL; one brother Sander (Mary) Willbanks of Stevenson, AL; two sisters: Thelma J. Morris of Chattanooga, TN, Eva Joyce Bynum of Stevenson, AL; two uncles: Charles Savage and Rev. Worley Allen; one aunt Amy Henry of Stevenson, AL; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends: Sugar Ray Scott, Cynthia Glover, Renae Linder, Dejenaha Linder and Birdie Jackson.
The family will receive friends Monday, October, 5, 10 AM - 12 PM CDT (two hours prior to the service) at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will begin at 12 Noon, at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. George Allen. Interment will be at Cross Cemetery in Stevenson, AL.
