I met Patricia in 2017 or so when I went to NACC to offer training on their web services. I'd talked with her several times prior to this, but this was my first time meeting her face to face. She was warm, inviting, and friendly in that way that good people so often are. My wife was with me, and she immediately invited us to eat in their cafeteria, despite the fact that we were not a part of the function for which the lunch was provided. She offered to drive us over in her golf cart.
This woman drove a golf cart like we were taking first place at the Indy 500. I swear to you we were up on two wheels at one point. I didn't even know golf carts could go that fast! From that point forward, I knew she was someone I'd be delighted to call a friend. We spoke many times, and while it was usually because her website was busted, we often spent more time catching up than we did talking business. I'll likely never forget her, or her golf cart handling skills.
