Pauline Danner Knox, 87 of Stevenson, Alabama, died January 3, 2014 at Lincoln Medical Center in Fayetteville, TN. Pauline was the daughter of the late Burt Cleveland and Easter Williams Danner born November 25, 1926 in Plevna, Alabama. She had a Master Degree from Peabody College in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Knox was a former Principal of Hazel Green Elementary School. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Stevenson. Pauline had recently been a resident at Southern Manor.
Besides her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Rudder Knox; siblings: B.C. Danner, Mildred Snoddy, Inez Bailey, Jolene Sanders, and J.B. Danner.
Pauline is survived by her sister Marguerite Davis of New Market, AL; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Saturday, 5-9 PM CST at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Sunday, January 5, at 2 PM CST at the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Perry Whitaker. Interment will be in Stevenson City Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
