Mrs Pearline Ashburn's Obituary
Mrs. Pearline Ashburn 85 of Skyline passed away on Saturday October 20, 2018 at the Highlands Health and Rehab in Scottsboro following a brief illness.
Pearline was a devoted christian, Wife, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend to many. Pearline attended the Skyline Church of God from its humble beginnings until sickness took this joy from her life. She was a graduate of Woodville High School and Alabama
School of Cosmetology.Pearline was a hairdresser for many years and for the last 25 years before retirement owned a shop at Skyline, Pearline's
Beauty Shop.
Pearline loved to quilt, crochet, embroider, and make gifts from the talents of these hobbies. No baby within her realm of influence has gone without one of her famous blankets.
Pearline is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law Mike and Debbie Ashburn, Grand Daughter Courtney Hales, Great Grandson Avery Hales, Step Grand Daughter Melissa Worobec. Brother and Sister-in-law Clifton and Eunice Sharpe and her Sister-in-law Patty Sharp and Brother-in-law Jim Ashburn. She was preceded in death by her Husband Edward Ashburn, her Parents Leonard and Myrtle Guinn Sharp, Brother James O. Sharp, Nephew Chris Sharp, and Daughter in-Law Diane Ashburn.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday October 23, 2018 From 11 AM
until 2 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. Funeral services
will follow at 2 PM in the Chapel of Rudder Funeral Home with Bro. William Ikard and Bro Mickey Skipper Officiating.Burial will follow in the Gold Cemetery at Letcher.
Pearline will be greatly missed by her family, friends, church and the whole Skyline community.
The family would like to thank the staff of Highlands Health and Rehab and Comfort Care Hospice for the loving care Pearline received during her illness.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation to the charity of your choice in honor of Mrs. Pearline Ashton.
