The Graveside Service for Peggy Sauro will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10 AM CDT at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL.
Peggy was born in Bridgeport, Alabama, the oldest of five children born to Ozelle and Ira Lawhorne and is survived by her daughter Geni (Matt) Holmes of The Woodlands, Texas, sister Ellen (Calvin) Hudson of Jacksonville, Florida, brother James Lawhorne of Tennessee and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Edmond Lawhorne of Bridgeport, Alabama and brother David (Sara) Lawhorne of Jackson, Mississippi. Peggy worked for 30 years at Redstone Arsenal and retired in 1995. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
