Ralph Chester LeRoy, 92 of Stevenson, AL, died July 28, 2014 at his home. He was the son of the late James Miles and Nettie Richardson LeRoy born June 21, 1922 in Bridgeport, AL. He was a U. S. Navy WWII Veteran, had been a Labor Foreman at TVA Widows Creek Plant, a farmer and member of Snowford Second Advent Church. He loved gardening and took care of everybody.
Besides his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife Emma Beatrice Crouch LeRoy; son Darwin Leon LeRoy; sister Helen Randolph; brothers: Gordon, Hampton and James.
Survivors include his children: Nina B. (Lester) Davis, Ann (Russ) Vann of GA, "Punkin" LeRoy, James T. (Sandra) LeRoy, Ernest C. LeRoy all of Stevenson; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Kathleen Collins of VA; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Tuesday and Wednesday 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Thursday, July 31, at 2 PM CDT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Bud Guess and Rev. J. B. Jones. Interment will be in Mt.Carmel Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
