Rayford Leon Potts' Obituary
Rayford Leon Potts, 77 a life-long resident of Stevenson, AL, died December 1, 2019 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Leon was a Stevenson High School Class of 1960 Graduate and worked as a construction sheetrock contractor for many years.
Visitation will be Monday, 5-8 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, December 3, at 1 PM CT in the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Joey Guess. Interment will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years Judy Ann Cummings Potts; children: Sheila (Rodney) Johnson, Daniel (Christine) Potts, Chris (Stacy) Potts, Stacy (Joey) Guess; grandchildren: Dex Pittman, Dillon (Stacy) Pittman, Megan Johnson, Brent (Cassidy) Potts, Kaylee Potts, Seth Potts, Hayden Potts, Brody Potts, Isabel Guess, Abby Guess; great-grandchildren: Ella Potts, Aubrey Theisen; and brother Johnny Privett.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents Leonard Leroy and Ada Louise Potts Privett; brother Billy Privett; grandparents: Joe & Ella Potts.
