Avis Crabtree Moore, 94 of Bridgeport, AL died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Cumberland Healt and Rehabilitation in Bridgeport. She was a retired dietary worker at North Jackson Hospital and was a life-long member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bridgeport.
Rena Avis Moore was preceded in death by her husband Taylor Z. Moore; parents Mack and Vinnie Crabtree; brothers: Lawrence, Bill, Ed and Raymond Crabtree; sister Ethel McCullough and daughter Brenda Purdy.
She is survived by son Harold (Jean) Moore, daughter June (Jerry) Rich; grandchildren: Teri (Lee) Coleman, Staci (Allen) Rhoades, Robbie (Cayce) Rich, Steve (Heather) Moore and Adam Moore; great-grandchildren: Jeremy Rich, Jared and Caleb Rhodes, Katelyn and Grayson Coleman, Merideth Green, Dakota Manness, Will Rich, Lily Hartley and Mary Brentley Moore.
Visitation will be Monday 5-9 PM CDT, Tuesday 10 AM-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. Service to be held Wednesday, June 18, at 11 AM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Dean Johnson and Dr. David Smith followed by burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
