Ms. Rita Bohannon Smith's Obituary
Ms. Rita Bohannon Smith, age 97 of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Cumberland Health and Rehab. She is survived by her daughters, Geraldean Chandler and Alta (Clarence) Hall; grandchildren, Bradley (Staci) Chandler and Shannon (Paul) Brubaker; great-grandchildren, McCall and Cash Chandler, and Dana and Dylan Brubaker; brothers, William Henry Bohannon, Jr., and Charles Howard Bohannon; as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Prince Smith; parents, Will Henry and Martha Bohannon; siblings, Hazel Sharp, Bertha Edmonds, Louise Sampson, Sue Perkins, Stanley Bohannon, and Ray Bohannon; and son-in-law, Aubrey Mo Chandler. Visitation for Ms. Smith will be Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 2-4 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will start at 4PM in the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.
