For our sweet cousin Robbie from all the Mayfield family in Texas, we love you so very much and we know we will see you again in Heaven. We love all our cousins in Scottsboro and wish we could be there to give you hugs. Just know, Michael, and all the Darwins, we have you in our prayers, and in our hearts.
I am a classmate & friend of Robbie. I am very saddened that I was unable to reconnect with him at our class reunion due to my own health problems. As I watched & prayed as our class web page kept us informed with the progress of Robbie as it went from some good to bad. Then heartbroken to learn that he lost his battle of life on this earth. He was a wonderful friend & classmate to many. He touched many lives, loved by many & he will be greatly missed. I am so sorry for your loss. May God be with the family & give you peace & comfort during this difficult time.
My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Robbie. He was a wonderful friend and classmate. I was very glad to be able to see him back at the Class Reunion. He was always nice to me and I thought a lot of him. He will truly be missed! You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Can't believe you are gone. It was just two weeks ago John, you and I were catching up at Wal-Mart and all was good. I appreciated your friendship and you will be missed by all. The lord has a better person on his team now.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of knowing Robbie in high school, as well as, working with him 26 years ago at Jacks. We had a lot of laughs while working together. Robbie and I had a chance to chat and catch up in September 2010, while gathering for our 30th high school reunion. He was always pleasant, curteous, and considerate of others. My thoughts and prayers are with you. He will be missed.

In junior high school I prayed for a best friend. My family moved just down the street from the Darwins. Robbie and his little brother Jamie came over every day even after my father died and life wasn't so good. All through high school Robbie was always there with a smile, a word of encouragement and the patience of Job.
I will miss him as will all who knew him. I am sorry for your loss Mike and Frankie, Jamie and your families.
I am a classmate of Robb's from Scottsboro High School. Leading up to our recent 30th reunion, Robb and I had the pleasure of catching up via email and bringing each other up-to-date on what we had been up to. Unfortunately, we managed to miss each other at the parade. And now I feel that loss even more. I was so looking forward to seeing him again. I have watched the recent updates of Robb's situation on our class webpage for days now, and was feeling so encouraged by the progress he seemed to be making. It was devastating to hear of our loss of such a wonderful member of our class. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mike and all of your families as you struggle to make sense of this tragic loss.
