Robert "Danny" Daniel Carter, 40 of Stevenson, Alabama died March 8, 2014 in an automobile accident. He was born June 22, 1973 in San Antonio, TX. "Danny" had attended North Jackson High School and had been a carpet layer by trade.
"Danny" was survived by his children: Cameron and Kelsi Carter of Section, AL; mother and step-father Ida McCoig (Jerry) McClendon of Pisgah, AL, father and step-mother Robert (Linda) Carter of Stevenson, AL; sisters: Jennifer (Jody) Brazell of SC, Kristy (Brandon) Schrimsher of Flat Rock, AL; niece and nephews: Riley, Carter and Luke Brazell, Sam and Hank Schrimsher.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mikey and Ruby McCoig, Billy Ray and Catherine Carter.
Visitation will be Monday, 5-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Tuesday, March 11, at 2 PM CDT in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in the Flat Rock Methodist Church Cemetery in Flat Rock, AL. In honor of his children, Cameron and Kelsi, a memorial fund has been set up in "Danny's" memory.
