Mr. Robert Lee Harper's Obituary
Mr. Robert Lee Harper, age 90 of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016. He was retired from the US Air Force and served in WWII. Mr. Harper is survived by his daughters, Catherine Gudger of Nashville, TN, Mary and David Willkie of Fyffe, AL, and Roberta and Harmon Yokley of Woodbury, TN; grandchildren, Charlann Price, Christy Lawrence, Melissa Lazos, Daniel Willkie, Miranda King, Tonya Gentle, Felicia Campbell, and Courtney Gudger; brother, JC Harper; sisters, Maxine Kirtland and Katherine Bailey; 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Harper; sisters, Willodean Bowman, and Imogine Potter; brothers, L.O. Harper and Wanna Joe Harper. Visitation for Mr. Harper will be Friday, January 22 from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 23 at 2:00 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randale Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Memory Gardens in Rainsville.
