Robert Allen "Bob" Hughes, 71 of Stevenson, AL, died May 10, 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Bob was the son of the late Paul Boyd and Virgie Marie Crownover Hughes born June 25, 1945 in Anderson, TN. He was a graduate of Franklin County High School, a student of the Nashville Art Institute and also received a degree from Houston School of Floral Design in addition to owning his own florists for many years. His talents were sought after for his creative and artistic design.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Paul B. Hughes, Sr., mother Virgie Crownover Hughes; brother Paul B. Hughes, Jr; sisters: Juanita Stephens, Nancy Andes and Elizabeth Hughes.
He is survived by brothers: Kenneth (Elaine) Hughes, Doug Hughes; sister Emma (Robert) Aycock and numerous loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday, 5-8 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 13, at 2 PM CT in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Crownover Cemetery in Anderson, TN. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
