Robert "Daddy Bob" Shook's Obituary
Mr. Robert Baker “Daddy Bob” Shook, age 79 of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. He was the owner of Shook Laundry, as well as many other business ventures. He is survived by his sons, Robert (Sonya) Shook and Joe Shook; daughter, Deb (Raymond) Florence; grandchildren, Kelly (Randall) Helton, Krissy Jones, Mason (Angie) Florence, Kyle Putman, and Chase Putman; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Lainey Helton, Kylie Allison, Dallas Florence, Landon Florence, and Ellie Putman; brother, Johnny H. Shook; sister, Willie Bea Shook Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Irving Shook; parents, Robert Burns and Emma Shook; sisters, Sarah Shook and Mary Burns Shook Simmons; and grandson, Christopher Florence. Visitation for Daddy Bob will be Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be Friday, June 24, 2016 at 1 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Greg Strickland officiating, and burial will follow at Freeman – Woods Cove Cemetery.
