Mrs. Sandra Sue Hornbuckle's Obituary
Sandi S. Hornbuckle of Woodville, AL. died Thursday, December 6, 2012 after a long illness. Born in Decatur, IL., she was a lifelong resident of Chicago. She was retired from Century 21 Realty, Remax, and American Home all of 21 years.
She did ministry at St. Genevieve Parish in Chicago from 1981-2002. She also did ministry at St. Jude Catholic Church in Scottsboro, AL. She was always doing home visits to the sick and mostly visiting a nursing home. Shew was always helping the less fortunate and being of service to the ones in need. Her passions were spending time helping at church, traveling, enjoying her family and grandchildren, cooking, reading and counseling people. She will always be remembered for her loving, kind, and generous nature.
Sandi was a loving wife, mother and adoring grandmother, married to her husband William Thomas Hornbuckle for 55 years.
Mrs. Hornbuckle is survived by her husband William Thomas Hornbuckle of Woodville; sister, Diane Johnson of Crawfordsville, Indiana; brother, Sonny Shank of Louisiana; daughters, Kathy Stevens of Camden, SC; Debby Hornbuckle of Lugoff, SC; grandchildren, Robert Bradley III, & Daniel Bradley of Dothan, AL; Kara Hornbuckle of Chicago, IL; Jennifer Hornbuckle of Berwin, IL; Kayla Ferguson of MD; Franklin Stevens of Myrtle Beach, SC and Sandy Westcott of Lugoff, SC.
She is preceded in death by her mother; Maxine Livergood; brother, Richard Livergood, and son; Ronald Thomas Hornbuckle.
