Sandra Kay Woody's Obituary
Sandra Kay Woody, 76 of Athens, Alabama answered the Lords call to Heaven on August 18, 2025. Kay was a loving, generous, kind soul that lived a life devoted to the Lord, Church, family and friends. She was a loving and devoted sister and aunt. A blessing to all that crossed her path in life. She lived a life rooted in kindness, generosity, hope, love and prayer. Kay enjoyed Church, time with family, playing piano and being a blessing to anyone she met. She was truly an angel on earth as she is now in Heaven with our Lord and with heavenly wings. She was Preceded in death by her parents, Elwood and Patsy Ruth Woody. She leaves loving and fond memories with her brother Norman (Shelia) Woody, Nieces, Amanda Woody, Kasandra Woody (Jason) Wooten, and Great Nephews, Cade Wooten and Cole Wooten, as well as friends from her hometown of Bridgeport, Alabama, and Athens Alabama where she called home, and fellow church members.
Kay will be laid to rest during a Graveside service on August 23, 2025 at Cumberland View Cemetery, Kimball Tennessee beginning at 1:00 PM CST.
