Sarah Mae Broyles McAllister, 92 of Bridgeport, AL, died December 2, 2013 at Cumberland Health and Rehabilitation where she was a resident. Sarah was the daughter of Joe and Ruth Irene Edwards Broyles born January 20, 1921 in Stevenson, Alabama. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Stevenson.
Sarah was preceded in death by her father Joe Broyles, mother Ruth Kaneaster, and husband Winfred "Wynn" McAllister.
Survivors include her daughters: Wanda (Hugh) Lyda of Flat Rock, AL, Shelia (Roy) Saylors of Stevenson, AL and Debbie Sparkman of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren: Sabrina Saylors, Hollie Saylors and Kenny Lyda; 7 great-grandchildren; sister Maxine (Chuck) Bonine of Maryville, TN; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Tuesday 4-8 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 4, at 1 PM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Wayne McAllister. Interment will be in the Stevenson City Cemetery.
