Sean Tyson Woods' Obituary
Sean Tyson Woods was born July 23, 1974 at Person County Hospital in Roxboro, North Carolina to Edward and Yvonne Woods. He departed this life on December 26, 2018. Moving to Alabama as a young Child, Sean graduated from Scottsboro High School as a member of the Class of 1992. While in school Sean participated in many activities band where he played multiple instruments such as the trumpet, trombone and tuba, wrestling, football and rec league basketball.
Sean was a member of the North Houston Street Church of Christ from a young age. As a youth he was active in many of the church’s youth programs were he formed many long life friendships along the way.
Sean loved North Carolina Basketball and Auburn Football. His love of these two sports lead him to spend many years as a coach for both Little League Football and rec league basketball.
Sean is preceded in death by his grandparents James and Regina Woods, Edward and Vernell Yarbough, Uncles Earl Yarbough and Ronnie Blackwell, Aunts Thelma Jones, Sandra Yarbough and cousin Rarnisha Woods.
