Mrs. Shirley Ann Simpson's Obituary
On April 29, 2021, Shirley Ann Simpson went to be with the lord. Shirley was born on November 9,1936 to the late George Lee Looney and Nancy Ann Looney of Guntersville, Alabama.
She was a member of the North Houston Church of Christ in Scottsboro, AL.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henrey Simpson, by her parents, her brother Leo Looney and her son Bobby Simpson.
She leaves behind 3 daughters and two sons. Daisy Sales (David) of Madison, AL., Brenda Davis (Frank) of Scottsboro, Angela Anderson (Willie) of Scottsboro, sons Rickey Simpson of Huntsville, AL and Danny Simpson of Scottsboro. She has 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Shirley has two sisters, Clodessa Evans and Odessa Looney both of Scottsboro, 3 brothers Ned Looney, Charles Looney and Khalil Amin all of Scottsboro, AL. She has a host of nieces and nephews and a special friend Mamie Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 12 PM – 1 PM with Funeral Services immediately following at the Rudder Funeral Home ~ Chapel in Scottsboro, Alabama and Interment into Cedar Hill Cemetery. Bro. Ed Woods will be officiating.
