Shirley Jean Richardson Smith, 70 of Orme, TN died July 28, 2010 at her home. Shirley was the daughter of the late Lorenzo Earl and Lizzie Bell Hughes Richardson born July 27, 1940 in Bridgeport, AL. She was a member of Orme Valley Church of God.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband John Henry Smith, Jr.; parents and brothers: Don and Ernest Richardson.
Survivors include her children and spouses: Linda (Chris) Parker of South Pittsburg, TN, David (Gwen) Smith of Orme, TN, Teresa (Todd) Lint of Richard City, TN, Savannah (Billie) Johnson of Winchester, TN, John (Katie) Smith of Stevenson, AL, Frances (Glen) Young of Orme, TN; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings: Lula Long of Jasper, TN, Christine Richardson of Orme, TN, Janie (Leonard) Havner of Jasper, TN, Bill Richardson of Orme, TN, Mike Richardson of Huntsville, AL, Jimmy Richardson of Bridgeport, AL, Nancy Richardson of Bridgeport, AL; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday 2-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 31, at 10 AM CDT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Todd Lint. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL.
