Sonny "Squirrel" Inglis' Obituary
Sonny “Squirrel” Inglis age 81 of Stevenson, Alabama passed away Friday, November 21, 2025 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Sonny was born January 23, 1944 in Bridgeport, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. Earle Davis and Sara Belle Williams Inglis, Sr. He is US Navy veteran of Vietnam, Member of the Edgefield Church of Christ, and retired telephone technician from South Central Belle, Bellsouth, and AT&T. Sonny married Wanda Sue Hackworth on May 18, 1968 and they had two children, Brain Inglis and Karen Hoosier. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 4-8:00PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 beginning at 1:00PM with Bro. Danny Rader officiating and burial to follow in the Stevenson City Cemetery.
Survivors include: Wife, Wanda Inglis; Children, Brian Inglis and Karen Hoosier; Grandchildren, Chis Hoosier and Cheyanne (Chris) Kern; great grandchild, Hayden Carroll; brothers, Eugene Inglis and Elbert Inglis.
Preceded in death by his parents, Earle and Sara Belle Inglis, Sr.
