Stanley Almon Brooks' Obituary
Stanley Almon Brooks, age 57 of Hollywood, AL, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017. Stanley was a member of the Stevenson High School Class of 1978, and Oak Grove Baptist Church. He loved to fish, and was a sponsor of the Monday Afternoon Fishing Tournament. He is survived by his wife, Donna Hamer Brooks; daughter, Amanda and Brett Johnson; grandchildren, Brayson and Bentley Johnson; parents, Lester and Ruby Brooks; brother, Roger and Debbie Brooks; nephew, Josh Brooks; niece, Keisha Haston; mother-in-law, Beth Mitchell; and sisters-in-law, Brenda and Pete Ledwell, and Teresa and Keith Wilks. He is preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Brooks. Visitation for Stanley will be Friday, December 29 from 5-9pm and Saturday, December 30 from 10am-9pm at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be Sunday, December 31 at 2pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Charles Underwood and Bro. David Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens.
