Mr. Stephen Dwight Mitchell's Obituary
Stephen Dwight Mitchell, age 65 passed away on Sunday August 25, 2019 at his home. Mr. Mitchell is a retired Sgt. 1st Class from the US Army with 25 years of service and served as an instructor in the nuclear and biochemical field.
He is survived by his wife Jean Mitchell, daughter Shawna Wood, son-in-law Keith Wood, Grandsons Carson and Maddox; Sisters Rita (David) Kiker, June Willis, Becky Metcalf, Sherry (Rickey) Weeks, Wanda Mitchell Bellomy, Sandra (Lawrence) Corbitt, Brothers Harold Mitchell and Chris Mitchell.
He was preceded in death by his parents Claude Frank and Ovell Mitchell, Sister Carol Morris, Brother Michael Wade Mitchell and Nephew Will Hunter Bellomy.
The family will receive friends on Thursday August 29, 2019 from 12 PM until 2 PM at the Central Baptist Church in Skyline, Alabama.
Funeral service for Stephen Dwight Mitchell will follow immediately after visitation at 2 PM with burial into Skyline Cemetery - Skyline, AL.
