Teri Devona Goins' Obituary
Teri was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew her—beautiful in spirit and presence, loving in all she did, and blessed with a sharp, intelligent wit that could brighten even the hardest days. Her laughter, quick humor, and thoughtful heart made her someone people were naturally drawn to, and someone impossible to forget. Above all else, Teri loved her family deeply. Her husband and children were the center of her world, the source of her greatest pride and joy. She poured her whole heart into them, and her love will continue to echo through their lives in countless ways. Teri had a spirited and creative soul. She adored Dolly Parton and country music, and as a young woman she dreamed of becoming a country music singer. Singing brought her joy throughout her life, and her voice—full of heart—was something family and friends will never forget. She expressed her creativity in many ways, including through her beautiful paintings, which captured her love of color, emotion, and life. Teri embraced every season, but she especially loved the holidays—most of all Halloween. She brought a special magic to the celebrations, turning them into cherished memories for everyone around her. Weekends at her home were filled with family and friends, laughter spilling from every room, because Teri loved nothing more than having the people she cared about close. She also had a deep love for the outdoors, finding peace and joy in nature’s simple beauty. Her dogs, Boz and Dolly, were her loyal companions, and she adored them with all her heart. Wherever Teri went, energy, warmth, and laughter followed—she was always the life of the party, the one who could turn an ordinary moment into something unforgettable. Teri leaves behind a legacy of kindness, humor, creativity, and unwavering love. Those who were fortunate enough to share life with her will carry her memory forward—through stories, through laughter, and through the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed, profoundly remembered, and forever cherished.
