Thelma Forrestine "Tina" Allison Johnson, 64 of Bridgeport, AL passed away September 27, 2008 at Huntsville Hospital. Tina had worked as a cook at Western Sizzlin for years. She was a devoted member, Sunday School Teacher and Choir member and the First Baptist Mothers Board of First Missionary Baptist Church of Bridgeport, AL. She also sang with the Gospel Warriors of Faith Choir.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents Husie Isaiah and Mary Dean Allison; son Jackie Robinson, Jr.; sisters Lily Bernice McComb and May Lois Allison and brother Franklin Allison.
She is survived by her husband Harry James Johnson; daughter Raji K. R. Kindred of Bridgeport, AL; grandchildren: Katalia J.C. Robinson, Alexandria K. Kindred, Kathyrine Murphy; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The wake will be Thursday, 5-9 PM CDT at
The funeral will be Friday, October 3, at 11 AM CDT at First Missionary Baptist Church on Franklin Avenue in Bridgeport, AL officiated by Pastor Stevie Smith.
