Ms. Thelma Y. Jones' Obituary
Thelma Jones 66, of Hollywood, born March 4, 1947 in Roxboro, NC, to the late Edward and Vernell Yarbough. She is also predeceased by her brother, Thomas Earl Yarbough.
Thelma is survived by siblings; Yvonne (Edward) Woods, Charles Yarbough, Elvin (Ronnie) Blackwell, Vernice (Hosea) Stewart, and Nancy Barnett.
Children; Troy Yarbough of Japan, Teresa Jones, of Hollywood, Nechole (Paige) Talley of Scottsboro, Gerald Jones of Hollywood, Shannon Jones of Russellville, Al. Grandchildren; Latreka Jones, Antonio Jones, Kaleka Jones, Khaleem Jones, Malik Talley, Jaquez Talley, Zhavontae Jones, Isiah Hunt from VA, Jatia Jones, Shaniah Jones, Shanley Jones Shyla Jones, Shantell Jones, Shawn Jones, Terrick Jones, Gavin Jones, Cash Smelley, Kai Yamaguchi, Rio Yamaguchi, Shin Yamaguchi, Nina Yamaguchi, Rio Yamaguchi and Courtney Bibbs.
Great-Grandchildren; Ace Jones, Xavion Jones, Calesha Smelley, Cash Smelley and Rai Yamaguchi. And a Special friend Jimmy Teague. And a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Thelma is 1-2 PM, Saturday, December 14, 2013 at North Houston Street Church of Christ.
Funeral services for her will be immediately after visitation at 2 PM., Mr. Will Hanserd will officiate.
Interment will be at Old Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Roxboro, NC.
Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro is in charge of arrangements.
