Mr. Thomas Larry Dawson's Obituary
Mr. Thomas Larry Dawson, 74 of Fackler passed away at his home following an extended illness.
Larry was a farmer for over fifty years, a member of Harmony Baptist Church for over seventy years and served as the chairman of the Deacons board.
Larry is survived by his wife of over 51 years, Nalda Dawson, his daughter Tammy and son-in-law John Murphey, grandchildren Dawson Murphey, J.T. Murphey, and Aliyah Murphey, his cousin close-as-a-brother James Dawson, and other cousins, family and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his Daughter Beth Dawson, Parents Leonard and Geneva Dawson, and his Sister Mary Dawson.
The family will receive friends on Sunday at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, AL from 5 PM until 8 PM and then on Monday from 10 AM until 3 PM; funeral services will follow at 4 PM in the Chapel of Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro with Bros. Ronnie Day and John Frasier officiating. Burial will follow in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, Alabama.
