Una Rae McCrary Guess, 81 of Stevenson, AL, died August 16, 2016 at her home. Una was the daughter of the late Taft and Lucy Lovelace McCrary born October 27, 1934 in Rash, AL. Una was a 1952 Graduate of Stevenson High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star.
Una was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Edward Guess; sons: Thomas E. "Buddy" Guess, Jr., Rick Guess; father Taft McCrary; mother Lucy Lovelace McCrary Burrows; siblings: Bill McCrary, Marvin McCrary, Melvin McCrary, Howard McCrary, Farrell T. "Pete" Burrows, and Wanda Lebens.
Survivors include her sons: J. Michael "Mike" (Cindy) Guess and Barry (Teresa) Guess; grandchildren: Michael and Thomas, Drew, Taylor, and Lindsey, Barresa, Ricci and Dylan; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ed Burrows and Carol Franks; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Thursday, 5-8 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Funeral Service will be Friday, August 19, at 4 PM CDT at the First Baptist Church in Stevenson, AL officiated by Rev. Josh Posey and Rev. Bill Stone. Interment will be in Stevenson City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Una Rae Guess, may be made to the First Baptist Church. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
