Vallie Lee Elliott Clay, 94 of South Pittsburg, TN, died November 24, 2010 at The Bridge at South Pittsburg. Vallie was the daughter of the late Johnson and Dicey Wills Elliott born September 30, 1915 in Woodville, AL.
Besides her parents; Vallie was preceded in death by her husband Harvey Hollis Clay; four children and several siblings.
Survivors include: children: Paul (Alice) Elliott of Lawton, OK, Walter (Polly) Clay of Huntsville, AL, Rev. Tommy (Starlet) Clay of Russellville, AL, Dorris (John Will) Hutchins of Stevenson, AL; step-children: Thomas (Geraldine) Clay and William (Dorothy) Clay all of Huntsville, AL, Raymond Clay of Bessamer, AL; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 30, Noon~1 PM CT at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will begin at 1 PM CT at the church. Interment will be at Stevenson Community Cemetery.
