Violette Wallingsford Stewart Rousseau's Obituary
Violette Wallingsford Stewart Rousseau, age 100, passed away December 16th, at her home in Scottsboro, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Porter Wallingsford, Gertrude & Walter Guffey; husbands, William Ernest Stewart and Homer I. Rousseau; son, William Leon Stewart; step daughter, Ira Sue Roberts and sisters, Lucille McCampbell, Bonnie O'Neal, William Thrasher, Joyce Davis and Marilyn Lancaster; brother, Jimmy Guffey. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Velon Dixson, step daughter, Nancy Lillye; grandchildren, Cassie Dixson Shipskie, Callie Dixson, Dr. Margaret Morr, William Stewart, and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 19th, from 12 - 1 pm at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro.
Graveside services will be at 2 pm, following visitation at Green Haven Cemetery, in central community on Sand Mountain.
