Virginia Gail Coffelt Johnson, 66 of Bridgeport, AL died January 25, 2011 at her home. Virginia was the daughter of the late Morris and Hazel Geer Coffelt born March 21, 1944 in South Pittsburg, TN. She had attended the Battle Creek Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years Bobby Hurshel Johnson; children Robby (Melody) Johnson of Stevenson, AL, Rodney (Sheila) Johnson of Sharpsburg, GA, Denise (Jason) Owens of Stevenson, AL; grandchildren: Brandon Johnson, Cody Johnson, Brook Hambrick, Taylor Mullins, Megan Johnson, Travis Pittman, Dillon Pittman, Paige Phillips, Seth Owens, Riley Owens; siblings: Ray Coffelt of Dallas, TX, Frank Coffelt of Jasper, TN, Carol Ferman of Atlanta, GA, George Coffelt of Dallas, TX, Jackie Coffelt of Soddy Daisy, TN, Billy Coffelt of Dunlap, TN, Ronnie Coffelt of South Pittsburg, TN, Cathy Crawford of Dallas, TX; a host of other relatives.
Besides her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her siblings: Gene Coffelt, Thurman Coffelt, Bobby Coffelt and Jan Parrish.
Visitation will be Thursday, 5-9 PM CT at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The funeral service will be Friday, January 28, at 2 PM CT at the funeral home chapel officiated by Bro. Darrell Nunley. Interment will be at the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
