Wallace "Sonny" Grider's Obituary
Wallace “Sonny” Grider, age 77 of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017. He is survived by his daughters, , Carolyn McSpadden, Teresa Franklin, and Sharon Grider; grandchildren, Jason Moore, Christy (Chasity) McSpadden, Kenny Bryant, and Dusty (Jamie) Bryant; great-grandchildren, Jacey Moore, Jade Moore, Bentley Bryant, Bellomy Bryant, and Hudson McSpadden; great-great grandchild, Hadleigh Stapler; sisters, Jane Woods, Jean Bell, Margaret Anderson, Joe Sauls, Ann Smith, and Robbie Temple; brothers, Norman B. Grider and Kenneth Grider; special friend, Wilma Payne; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Tempie Grider; son, Eddie Wayne Grider; siblings, Jimmy, Cecil, Gerald, and Russell Grider, and Lena Mae Baine. A graveside service for Mr. Grider will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 3 pm at Pisgah Cemetery with Bro. Joel Shiflett officiating.
