Wallace "Tater" Phillips' Obituary
Wallace Ray “Tater” Phillips, age 66, passed away Friday, February 08, 2019 at his home in Stevenson, Alabama. He was born March 21, 1952 in Scottsboro, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Ray and Lillian Leona Frazier Phillips. Tater graduated from Gurley High School in 1970. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 3-8:00PM at Rudder Funeral Home, Scottsboro. Funeral services will be held in Rudder Funeral Home Chapel in Scottsboro February 15, 2019 beginning at 12:00 PM with Bro. Dustin Henshaw officiating and burial to follow in the Paint Rock Cemetery.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Haley Phillips; Sidekick, Nick Cooper; and an immeasurable amount of friends.
Tater is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Lillian Phillips.
