Walter Carl "Pete" Chisenall, 79 of Stevenson, AL died March 2, 2017. Pete was the son of the late Jesse Earl and Willie Kate Crabtree Chisenall born March 4, 1937 in Jackson Co. Alabama. He was a self-employed logger. He was a member of Centennial Baptist Church and Bolivar Masonic Lodge. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years Letha Doris Smith Chisenall; children: Sheila (Mike) Cloud, Vickie (Donald) Lawson all of Stevenson, Chuck (Lisa) Chisenall of Scottsboro, AL; grandchildren: Steva Maynor, Heather Blizzard, Chris Chisenall, Ryan Lawson, Fallon Johnson, Paige McCanless; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings: Barbara (Joe) Buttram, Ann (Charlie) Brown, Madge Chisenhall, Jackie (Karen) Chisenall, Raymond Chisenall; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be Friday 5-9 at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 4, at 3 PM in the funeral home chapel officiated by Rev. Roger Little. Interment will be in Sterns Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
