Mr Walter Talmadge Thomas' Obituary
Mr. Walter Talmadge Thomas 96 of Scottsboro passed away at his home following a brief Illness. Mr Thomas was retired from Revere Copper and Brass where he worked on the pot line, Mr. Thomas was a Korean veteran serving with Co. B 151st Engineer
Battalion. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Grider Thomas and his parents Lawtus Broden and Fannie Thomas Grandsons Cody and Aaron Mitchell Brothers and Sister G.W.Thomas, Scott Thomas, Ann Powell, Johnsie Thomas and John Paul Thomas, Survived by Daughters Cathy Thomas (Michael) Mitchell, Janice Thomas (John) Walters, Grandchildren Thomas Andrew (Erika) Walters,
Mary Hannah Walters(Anthony) Hawkins, Sara Mitchell (Chase) Bolt, Great grandchildren Asher Chase Bolt, Logan Emmett Bolt, Drew Caroline Walters, Lainey Blake Walters, and Kendall Marie Hawkins. Sister and brother Sarah Thomas Cornelison and Sammy Jack Thomas, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday April 9, 2026 from 11 am until 1 pm at the
Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro with funeral services to follow at 1 pm from the
chapel of Rudder Funeral Home interment will be in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens
Hollywood, Alabama. Rudder Funeral Scottsboro is in charge of arrangements.
