William Travis "Bud" St. Clair, Sr., 86 of Stevenson, AL, died September 12, 2014 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL. William was the son of the late John Robert and Susie Mae Weems St. Clair born October 1, 1927 in Stevenson. "Bud" was a U.S. Army Sargent during WWII and U.S. Army Major in the Korean War. He was a member of VFW, KWVA, NRA and TROA.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Emily Louise Smith St. Clair; granddaughter Amy Stubblefield and brother John Robert St. Clair, Jr.
Survivors include his children: William "Travis"(Vickie) St. Clair, Jr. of Stevenson, Steven (Miriam) St.Clair of Newton, MS, Angela Venable of Stevenson; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother Fred St. Clair of Quanico, VA; sister-in-law Earlyne Allison.
Visitation will be Sunday, 5-9 at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The Graveside Service will be Monday, September 15, at 11 AM CDT at Stevenson City Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com.
