William Harold "Coley" Cole, 90 of Stevenson, AL died August 14, 2008 at Rivermont Care and Rehabilitation in South Pittsburg, TN where he had resided for the last several years. "Coley" was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran and member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Cole was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Jones Cole; parents William Lewis and Ella M. Jordan Cole.
He is survived by his son William Lewis Cole, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN; nieces and nephew: Willie H. Tipton of Chattanooga, TN, Tommy Doss of Stevenson, AL, Edna Reddick of OH, Diane (Jimmy) Thompson of MD, Sandy Hawkins of MD and other relatives.
Visitation will be 1-2 PM CDT one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, August 19, at New Covenant Baptist Church in Stevenson. The funeral will begin at 2 PM CDT at the church officiated by Rev. William Langford. Interment will be Wednesday, 10:30 AM CDT at Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.
