William Leonard Guinn, 85 of Stevenson, AL died February 8, 2010 at his home. William was the son of the late William "Willie" Johnny and Tennie Gertrude Burton Guinn, born January 30, 1925 in Rash, AL. He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, member of the local VFW, and attended Helton's Chapel. He worked on his farm and also retired after working over 40 years at U.S. Stove as a press operator. Mr. Guinn is survived by his wife of 60 years Dorthy June Wynn Guinn; children: Benny (Wanda) Guinn of Bridgeport, AL, Theresa Dale Carter of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, Kathy (James) Edwards of Rosalie, AL, Mike (Debbie) Guinn of Stevenson, AL, Joseph Guinn of Wannville Community, AL; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters: Lula Arnold of Summerville, GA, Uza Rich of Rash Community, AL.; brother Buell Calvin Guinn of Wannville Community, AL; nieces, nephews and other relatives. The Graveside Service will be Tuesday, February 9, at 2 PM CST at the Longacre Cemetery in Stevenson, AL. The family will receive friends from 11 AM to 1:30 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Stevenson, AL. The processional to the cemetery will leave at 1:30 PM. from the funeral home.
