William "Buck" Shelton's Obituary
William “Buck” Shelton, age 80 of Scottsboro, AL, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016. Buck was a member of Larkinsville Church of Christ. He was a farmer for many years, and was also a mechanic for General Equipment Company. He is survived by his wife, Jean Shelton; daughters, Jackie Hayes and Karen (Russell) Wilhelm; grandchildren, B.J. Hayes, Stephanie Wilhelm, and Erica Wilhelm; sisters-in-law, Annie Shelton and Mary Jean Shelton; as well as several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Beulah Shelton; son-in-law, Billy Joe Hayes; siblings, Clyde Shelton, Inez Keller, Pearl Shelton, Fred Shelton, Eva Manning, Daisy Shelton, Baby Shelton, Virgie Womack, Nola Webb, Geneva Rice, Harold Shelton, and Marie Shelton. Visitation for Mr. Shelton will be Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 5-9 PM at Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro. The funeral service will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 2 PM at the Rudder Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Winford Russell officiating, and burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
