Willodene Horton Kilgore age 87 of Bridgeport passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Alabama from 4-8:00PM and Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 10:00AM-2:00PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 10th beginning at 2:00PM in the St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Bridgeport with Pastor Ronnie Coffelt officiating and eulogy given by Bettye Bunch.
Willodene is survived by: children, Cheryl (Jimmy) Bice, Clyde (Judy) Kilgore, Kenny Kilgore, Connie (Justin) Huckabee; Grandchildren, Shelley Matthews, Shane Kilgore, Kat Brizendine, Erica Kilgore, Danielle King, Natalie Evett, Clyde Kilgore; Greatgrandchildren, Beau and Blake Matthews, Lennon Kilgore, Macie Lawson, Josey Lawson, Henry Evett, Sawyer Kilgore, Brantley and Preston King, Beau, Bailey, and Luke Brizendine; sister, Bettye Bunch; brother, Max Horton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by: husband, Willie Bob Kilgore; parents, William Wesley and Phoebe Helen Byars Horton; grandson, Steven Lawson; Siblings, Al Horton, Frances Goodman, and Ruth Cooper.
