C.W was friends with my grandma, Jean Manning. They used to work on lawnmowers together, and I saw him a lot when I was a kid. For a long time, he felt like part of my family. He always supported me and my sister when we were selling things for our school, and he was always so kind to us. He used to call me "Head Down," because I was shy and talked very low when I was around other people. He called my sister "Motley," and it's crazy that I remember this now. He was a good, kind, caring person, and we will miss him a lot. Our prayers are with his family.
