I know this comes late, but I just wanted to say that I remember Ed from Elkhart High School, in Indiana. We worked together one summer in a mobile home plant. He was always friendly and happy, and I'm glad he was able to make music a part of his life. Sorry to hear of his passing.

I met Ed at Pierre Moran jr. high in the 60's (Elkhart IN.). He immediately displayed his musical talent by explaining to me the difference between "rock" and "pop" style music. He was a great person who I wish I could have spent more time with.
Eddie always wore a warm smile and extended a heartfelt handshake whenever I saw him. The last time I ran into him was only a few weeks past. He came from a great family and was proud of his roots. Maria and I are so shocked and saddened to hear of his untimely passing. We pray that his mother and sisters will find comfort in their knowledge that he was a great man with a warm and kind heart. Jean and Debbie, I'm sorry for your loss. I would be there with you but I'm in Cleveland, TN at a BioMath workshop at Lee University. I know he was the best of guys because you two were his mother and baby sister. Love you and will be saying extra prayers as you face the future without him.
He was the guy who handed a ten year old boy a Fender Stratocaster and let him beat the strings off of it....the guy who showed me how to make a barre chord....the guy who taught me what harmony singing was, and convinced me I might be able to do it a little....the guy I got the songwriting bug from.....the guy who introduced me to all things Jim Croce....he was my musical mentor, my eldest cousin, a big brother when I needed one.....and this morning, he left this place....a permanent change of address if you will.............and I am going to miss him.....I'm glad you were part of my life, Edward O.
