Edward Oran Barnes, 60 of Bridgeport, AL, died June 24, 2013 at his home.
Eddie was the son of Roam Oran and Edna Jean Coffman Barnes born March 18, 1953 in Bridgeport, AL. He had worked as a construction carpenter, but music was his life. He played in local bands, namely, Next of Kin, Sundance and Renegade.
Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by his father and grandparents: Ed and Verda Mae Lawhorne Coffman and Claude and Malissa King Barnes.
Survivors include his mother Jean Barnes; sisters: Linda (Troy) Pemberton, Teena Green, Tammie (Murray) Hughes all of Bridgeport, AL and Deborah Barnes of South Pittsburg, TN; niece Heather (Brian) Payne; nephew Austin Laughlin; great-nephews: Jade Luckhart and Travis Payne; aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 2-9 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral service will be Thursday, June 27, at 11 AM CDT at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Rocky Springs Cemetery. www.rudderfuneralhomes.com
