RIP Daddy. I remember you reading Hans Christian Anderson stories to me as a small child and I enjoyed exchanging letters and getting to know you again these last 12 years. Your daughter, Cindy Jean Hughes.
I am so very sorry for your loss. At such a painful time, I hope that it is comforting to know that our Creator, Jehovah God, understands our grief. More than that, he longs to use his almighty power to restore life to our loved ones. Notice the hope conveyed in the words at Job 14:15, "You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands." We are the work of God's hands and the Creator who was responsible for our life can certainly restore us to life after death. May these thoughts along with your warm memories give you comfort during this difficult time.
RIP Mr. Hughes. I am deeply saddened at your passing. I have known you a really long time and will miss you very much:-(
I hold a special place for Mr. Hughes. He taught me to fly at the Stevenson Airport
years ago. He cut the tail end off my best Sunday shirt and put it up in his office on
the day I soloed. He fussed on me a lot but that was to be expected. He was a
gentleman to me.
