Jimmy Wright, 64 of Hixson, TN formerly of Bridgeport, AL. died October 19, 2011 at his home. Clarence Jimmy was the son of the late Clarence Dewey and Kitty Belle Hodge Wright born June 3, 1947 in Stevenson, AL. He was a Vietnam U. S. Army Veteran; retired in 2000 from TVA as an engineer and was a deacon at Harmony Grove Baptist Church. Jimmy had a BS degree from UTC.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years Carolyn Elizabeth Randolph Wright; brother Ernie (Becky) Wright of Huntsville, AL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Hugh L. (Sandra) Randolph of Leesburg, AL, Wanda (Milford) McCutchen , Susie (Jerry) Richardson all of Bridgeport, AL, Eileen (Barry) Cooper of Hixson, TN ; special daughter Haley McCraw of Hixson, TN; a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, 2-8 PM CDT at Rudder Funeral Home in Bridgeport, AL. The funeral service will be 2 PM CDT Saturday, October 22, at the funeral home chapel officiated by Revs. Kenneth Brown, Jr. Doyle Sherril, Bill Casteel, and Dennis Hamm. Interment will be at Mt.
