Oh what a witty and wonderful lady Ms. Jane was. I am so very sorry for Ellen's and Katye's loss of their precious Mother, but know she is strolling the streets of gold on the arm of her beloved Ray! I'm praying for peace and comfort for this lovely family.

Jane and Ray were so instrumental in my life when I was growing up in Stevenson, Alabama. They were like second parents to me, and the love and laughter they shared will always be with me and will always be a part of me. And I will always be thankful for that. God gives us memories so those we love are never gone from us. And I do have such wonderful memories of Jane and Ray. We are all blessed by having them in our lives. God's Peace.
Ellen, so sorry about your Mom. I actually did not get to meet her until I came by the house in B'ham maybe 2 years ago now. I VERY WELL remember your visits to Scottsboro when my Mom worked for Ruby.

Jane, I always looked forward to seeing you during DDays. We've had many good, long chats over the years. Have missed your smiling face since you went to B'ham. You were loved by many and will be sorely missed. May you rest in peace Old Friend...

RIP my friend....
