A few years ago I called Aunt Jenny and Uncle Larry every month for several months.
We had great conversations! We talked about everything from national news to Dodge City gambling back in the day. I learned that my dad had a light green Model A with back rumble seat. Uncle Kirk had a blue and white Oldsmobile, and Uncle Larry had a 38 blue Desoto! Lots of love and sympathies to all family and friends!! ♥️
I will always remember how much fun Uncle Larry was! He taught me to fish in high school and loved to give boyfriends a tough time! He was very loving and always said what he thought, which guided many kids through life. Much like Uncle Monte and Uncle Kirk. And of course Grandma Hawkins…
I always missed him from a distance and will miss him even more now.
